This week's Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Houses."
This was another tough challenge to come up with something for. The words in the background describe an "old gray house" and the ghostly faded image of another house is in the background as well.
I created this using GIMP 2.10.8.
The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
I love the ghosting of the image in the background, tells a tale of a house that once stood. Even with the new build the aura of the past is still present. Clever creation.. Sunday Creative wishes Tracey x
ReplyDeleteI love how you chose to share this digitally. It is fabulous and sort of spooky when you think about it.
ReplyDeleteI would like that old grey house to be where I live. I like old houses. They have stories to tell and so many more interesting details than homes now. Nice post my friend. Hope you are enjoying some of this wonderful spring weather. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteHello, what a cute house. Pretty postcard image. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy new week!
ReplyDeleteA fabulous card, Anne
ReplyDeleteI like the stories one can make looking at this image. A past house, or maybe, what the little house dreams or aspires to be.
ReplyDelete...and a pretty one!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cozy cottage, and the fading memory background is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love how you placed the one house on the "ghost" house image. Every place has a past, and I think you brought the depth of this place to life :)
ReplyDeleteNice work, Anne. I like the house with the ghost house in the background. It makes you think of what was there before this other house came in to being. Very creative, well done.
