These are photographs I took recently at the (H)Ousatonic Dam in Derby, CT.This Great Blue Heron was standing in the water by the rocks at the base of the dam. He blended in so well that I almost didn't see him. After awhile, he walked further along the dam, where I got the first photograph of him. I liked how the sunlight highlighted him and the rocks in that shot.
