This past week, I took more photographs of the lone Swan that has been at Southport Beach in Fairfield CT. I was taking the presence of this bird for granted, until someone left me a comment saying they don't have any Swans where they live. I've been admiring some of the stunning birds people have photographed where they live, but that comment made me realize I should appreciate the unique birds around here, whose natural habitat includes CT.
