This is 3 of 7 blog posts of photographs I took along Route 67, 6, and 61 on January 27, 2013, during a drive north to Bethlehem, CT.These were some barns. One still seemed to be in use. One was abandoned.
This is my entry for this week's Barn Charm #120.
I really love both of these!
ReplyDeleteMeant to say I love that rock wall beside the second one!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the photos of the second barn!
ReplyDeletei like the curvature of the roof of the first one, but really like that weathered board on the 2nd. :)
ReplyDeletereally enjoy the 1st shot. what a great roof line. great find. thanks, for linking up to BC ... for all to see. enjoy your week. ( :
ReplyDeleteI like the architectural lines of the one that is still in use. It seems that so many barns never get a coat of paint or any maintenance. It is almost like they are disposable.

Beautiful shots! Both are great barns.
ReplyDeletelove these, and that little rock wall too!
ReplyDeleteoooo, the third picture looks like it came right out of a Jason movie....scary looking!
ReplyDeleteThey are so different, but both beauties in their own way.
ReplyDeleteNice barns- and I'm curious about that wall of rocks. It seems out of place for some reason.
ReplyDeleteThat sliding barn door in the second picture is fabulous!
