Amber Moon - Photographs

I took these photographs of the moon on the night of January 26, 2013, when it was  99% lit, and the morning of January 27, 2013, when it was full. I took them in two different towns in Connecticut. The amber color resulted from the moon rising while the sun was still setting.

I love the moon and hope to get more pictures of it this year!

I'm still behind on visiting and commenting on everyone's entries.

    Nice photos. It is amazing the color difference. How many hours apart are the two shots?

    Beautiful pics. They made me realize that the moon is beautiful in all its different manifestations to us.
