"Chicken Run" - Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Chicken Run" but I wasn't sure what that meant.

I made a recipe card using this chicken soup recipe. This is also my first creation using GIMP version 2.8.0, which was released on May 5.

The vegetable digital stamps are from the NIDDK Image Library. The chicken is from Clipart ETC.

The fonts are Sarsaparilla and RiotSquad.

    very unusual! Well, a chicken run is just the place where chicken live on a farm ... there´s also an animated movie with this title, and the German translation of its title uses the word play of running chicken, but that´s just another way to use this theme as an inspiration.

    Great "gimping" Anne! Nice work. I had to look up "Chicken Run" too. I'd never heard the term, even though I grew up on a farm and we raised chickens.
