"Black Ledge Lighthouse" - Postcard

This week's Sunday Postcard Art theme was "Lighthouses."

I created this using GIMP 2.10.30

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

-----

I took some poetic license with this. The map in the background is of the Groton / New London Connecticut area. The New London Ledge Light is allegedly haunted, but it doesn't look like the lighthouse image I used for my art piece.

  1. Fabulous image. It almost looks like a submarine conning tower.

  5. Oh, I loooooove it!
This shades of colours are splendid. The textures are both delicate and powerful. The old maritime map is fabulous. And the emotion is strong to observe this submerged lighthouse...
    Bravo Ann!
