This week's Three Muses challenge theme was "Apple."
I originally thought the man was carrying a basket of apples, but they might actually be tomatoes. However, the border on the right has an apple in it. This is also more of a Fall Harvest theme, which is early to be showing, as it is still just the beginning of Summer here.
I created this using GIMP 2.10.24.
The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
Apples or tomatoes - no need to get constant upgrades!

Love it, other than the reference to Fall. This looks like one of those old-fashioned fruit/vegetable labels.
ReplyDelete...I'm looking forward to harvest time.

This is a lovely postcard! I like the harvest theme. I am not sure but I think the first local apples in our area come in the end of August.

This is lovely. I love vintage cards.
ReplyDeleteIt´s too early for Autumn, but this is a very clever one with the tomato in it!
ReplyDeleteEither way, it's nice red juicy fruit!
