I took these pictures this morning, November 08, 2012. A little over one week after Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the East Coast, CT got hit by a Nor'easter that was supposed to be mostly rain, according to the original forecast, but which turned into a winter storm instead. We'll be up to 65 F by Monday, so none of this snow will be around very long. As the saying goes, "If you don't like the weather in New England today, wait until tomorrow" which will be up to 50 F.
What a beautiful snow! Great photos! Too bad the east coast is getting hit again, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog :)
Beautiful snow captures! Hope your safe from all the storms.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about all the havoc, but this snow certainly brought some beauty. Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteGosh, snow already! It's so pretty. We'd welcome some down here. :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and silent, different to the golden chimes of your previous post.
ReplyDeleteI got a chill just looking at your photos.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. I admit that I do like snow but November 8th seems way too early. I guess it was a not-so-subtle reminder to have the snow tires put on the car. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! What a difference from your previous post.
