This week’s Three Muses challenge was "Lock and Key."This is also my entry for this week's Inspiration Avenue challenge "Art with Heart."
The vintage images are from an Internet search and the Library of Congress.
The words are from the poem Scrub by Edna St. Vincent Millay.
The font is HarabaraHand Italic.
This is a gorgeous interpretation of this week's challenge, Anne. Thanks so much for being a loyal supporter of Three Muses!
ReplyDeletegorgeous Anne!
ReplyDeleteI know that everyone sees something different when looking at art. For me, this looks like men trying to force open the lock to your heart completely isgnoring the key which is in plain sight. And the key is cased in beautiful flowers which to me represents love and romance....silly men. waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty piece....
ReplyDeleteLove the postcard and perfect submission for this week's challenge

This was a wonderful way to combine the two themes. The hands are very powerful. I hope you'll visit IA next week-I'm hosting my first challenge.
