This week’s Gothic Arches challenge was “Edgar Allan Poe.” I based my piece on The Masque of the Red Death, my favorite short story by Edgar Allan Poe. I show the view through the gothic scarlet window in the western chamber at midnight, when Prince Prospero confronts the mummer who appeared at his masked ball.
Notes to myself: Poe's Memorial Grave and map for Baltimore.
