I made the same music roses butterfly wood box as this one, using a paper cigar box, so this is box number 2 (#2).

I painted over the paper using Martha Stewart Vintage Gold Metallic Paint (346 433 / M18121), and applied two coats of paint. I created top, front, back, side and bottom panels for it, and decoupaged them onto the box after the paint was dry, using Liquitex Gloss Gel. I used two layers of Delta Ceramcoat Gloss Interior Varnish (clear coat) over that. I left the inside of the box unaltered.

I'm going to try to sell this at a cigar store.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.4.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
