I recently took these photographs of a female Red Fox with Sarcoptic mange and Alopecia (hairloss). She also has lesions from scratching. Her long term prognosis is not good.

Although the photographs are not attractive, I'm posting them to make others aware of this problem.

Oh Dear. The poor thing is ina bad way. You do right to post the pictures Anne. best that people should know about those conditions. I didn't until now.

Oh i pity the fox! I sometimes see a stray dog like that too.
