"Look Past Pink And Blue" - Postcard

New York City is spending $265,000 for an ad campaign that tells people to, "Use the restroom consistent with who you are."

I have created my own ad for their campaign. I wrote the first and last sentences in this piece. The remaining sentences are from their ad:

Sam looks like, and anatomically is, a male, but he self identifies as female. Sam will enter women's restrooms throughout New York City. So you better not question him when he does, because...

In NYC, it's the law. No questions asked.

Sam, Manhattan

Look Past Pink And Blue

Use the restroom consistent with who you are

If you face discrimination based on your gender identity and expression, contact the NYC Commission on Human Rights.

My piece is a "cartoon" in the same vein as Charlie Hebdo cartoons.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.16.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
