"Spring Herald" - Postcard

I made a Spring garden seeds themed piece.

Here in southern New England, Spring has been late in coming. We have had a few freezing rain and light snow weather events that most likely have killed my Old Fashioned Bleeding Hearts plants, which started growing in mid-March. Time will tell how they fare, but the loss of these beautiful plants will be hard for me to accept.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.16.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

This piece is my entry for the following:

Tuesday's Treasures

This is really nice...makes me want to get out in the garden and work and I no longer have a garden.

Sounds like the conditions we have had here in Central Ky. Too cool and windy to set out any annuals. Can't wait to do that. Very nice art work.

I'd be sad to lose my bleeding hearts. Hope yours survives...
