This week’s Take a Word challenge was "Silhouette."

I used a silhouette as a minor part of my overall piece.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.16.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

You do such amazing work! Thank you for your kind words on my blog recently. Those three tags were a gift from and made by Alison Bomber. I treasure them! I've enjoyed reading your most recent posts!

A beautiful postcard, Ann.
(Regarding the new link ... we had some glitches on the first day, mostly due to some or our lovely bloggers entering the name/description in the top "box" and the URL/address in the second box. This resulted in some errors. I entered my long "archive address" in the URL section without any problems. Hope that helps but the comments section will always be there if the link fails. Thanks for your input, Ann. It's so good to see "old" names in the challenges from week to week. By "old" I mean "with us from day one". I think Three Muses is at least eight years old, TAW six or seven. Cheers from Marie)
