This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Dark."I went with another Revelation (Apocalypse) themed piece.
I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.
The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)
The words are from an old book page:
Wo to the Inhabitants of the Earth, and of the Sea ;
for the Devil is come down unto you,
having great Wrath ;

So elegant. I find , when taken bit by bit, the Book of Revelations is pretty terrifying, and this is a prefect example of the power of words.
Wow this is dark makes me want to reexamine my life lol. A beautiful postcard very original and well done.

A not-so-subtle interpretation of the darkest hour for the earth while, at the same time, a great work of art! Nicely done!
Great depth to the colour tones adding a touch of darkness to the words.
