These are photographs that I took of a Snowy Egret from the Riverwalk in Westport, CT this past week.

In the early Summer of 2014, the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion and the Town of Westport, Connecticut completed their renovation of the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts. Part of that project included renovating the Riverwalk area around the pavilion.

The Riverwalk is a brick path that borders the Saugatuck River, starting in the lower Jesup Green parking lot, going past the Library, and ending near the steps that lead up to the Levitt Pavilion. At that point, it continues on as a crushed gravel path called the Riverwalk / Jeff Shoup Walk. It ends at a wooden pedestrian bridge that leads to an overflow parking lot.

The Riverwalk is a level, short walk with beautiful views of the water and surrounding area. Nearby is the Grace K. Salmon Park, another lovely area for viewing shore birds.

...did not read it all ... because sometimes I want only pictures. One says, a picture says more than thousand words. Hope, I will not miss the text. otherwise I will look later!

Beautifully caught with your lens. Always thought of them as a very elegant bird.
