"Blue Sky and Golden Light" – Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "At the Beach."

I struggled to come up with something for this due to the recurrence of artist's block. I ended up going to the beat of my own drummer (for the second time with this theme).

The words are from a Chanel No. 5 commercial

I am made of blue sky and golden light
And I will feel this way forever
Share the fantasy
Channel Number Five

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

The vintage images are from an Internet search. (See the side of my blog for links.)

The font is Bernardo Moda Contrast

The Chanel quote is perfect for your postcard, Anne. She looks like she knows her way around a gallon or so of it :-) I love that sea too. A very striking postcard.

Beautiful postcard. And don't you love that this style swimsuit is now quite fashionable again?

I don't see a block in either of your pieces, Anne! But I do know what you mean.
