"Pieces of Pictures" – Postcard

This week’s Sunday Postcard Art challenge was "Pieces of Pictures."

I wasn't sure what the theme was supposed to be, and all I could think of was puzzle pieces. So I made a piece that is comprised of several pictures, put together as puzzle pieces.

I created this using GIMP 2.8.14.

The vintage images are from the Internet Archive. (See the side of my blog for links.)

It's a wonderful card and a unique interpretation of the theme.

I too worked ahead of the sample and ended up with quite a different interpretation from the sample. The fun now is seeing how each of our minds work from just words. Your puzzle pieces are a great idea and your picture pieces work amazing together.
